About The Saucy Horse
In December 2018 action followed thought and a 2000 Rice Popular came home to Deeside. A far cry from its original purpose the Rice is now The Saucy Horse, a Mobile Noodle Bar serving fresh vegan and non-vegan vermicelli noodles, delicious home made Indian Chai & gluten free cakes and loose leaf teas. The Saucy Horse is also a licensed bar.
Where possible we source organic and local produce or products from companies who help communities beyond themselves.
The Saucy Horse is equipped with a 220 liter bottle cooler, 1 x 27 litre Parry LPG gas hot water urns, 2 x LPG gas burning stoves, plenty of storage, hand washing facilities (for staff only), loads of Joy and a sense of humour :-)

Bar Variations ~
Price of variations shown below will depend on options you choose, your choice of wine and number of people.
pay up front so guests do not have to pay for drinks ~ bar limit will be set, 50% of limit must be paid for prior to event, should the set limit not be reached the difference will be refunded after the event
certain amount put behind bar, once this amount is finished guests will pay for drinks
4 different snacks can be provided, cost will depend on amount choice of snacks
MEET & GREET / TASTING BAR:
Over all price will depend on number of people, tasting and snack options selected

snacks can be provided during tasting, snack option will be paired with chosen alcoholic flavours
BOUTIQUE TEA & CAKE BAR:
Non - Alcoholic Mulled wine can be substituted for Chai, with cheese straws and other snacks served on the side
Alcoholic tipples can be served alongside the Chai or non-alcoholic mulled wine
Booking Terms & Conditions ~
Please contact us directly to make a booking. We will do our best to be available on the date of your event and to meet your specific needs.
Payment of a non-refundable deposit will confirm booking.
8 weeks notice will be required if your event requires an occasional liquor license.
All correspondence will solely be between the person who made the booking and The Saucy Horse.
The Saucy Horse will be the sole provider of all alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages at the event unless previously agreed.
We always encourage responsible drinking and act within the law. We reserve the right to refuse alcohol to anyone who becomes, or seems to be aggressive, or is in our view, under the influence of alcohol (drunk).
If you or any of your party are lucky enough to look under the age of 25, please don’t be offended if we ask you for proof of age. We operate the Challenge 25 scheme at all parties and events, private or public.
Mileage, Set-up & Glassware
If venue is beyond a 30 mile radius of Dinnet a charge of 45p per mile return will be levied.
Horse Box Access & Set up:
We will require venue access before the event to ensure the Saucy Horse Unit (The Unit) can be suitably positioned - The Unit requires an unobstructed area of at least 6m x 5m to operate and a clear, unobstructed head height of 3m. We also need to ensure that there is enough turning space.
In order to bring The Unit to your event we need to have sufficient space for our Van to be parked behind The Unit for the duration of our involvement at the Event (unless otherwise agreed before the event). **Please note** We will not park or unload in any area where we may be towed away, clamped, locked in or where we may be liable for a penalty or potentially commit an "endorsable" offence.
We require access at least one hour before the event is due to start.
For all events we will use our reusable plastic glassware, or for an extra cost, we can hire in appropriate glassware subject to venue and license agreements, all of which is to be agreed before the event.
License restrictions prohibit the use of glass at public events. We will therefore use a mixture of "Tritan" (reusable) glasses for small public outdoor events (subject to a refundable £2 deposit per glass) and "Vegware" disposable tumblers for larger events.
